students today read a poem by Emily Dickinson and most of a radio play written by Fletcher called The Hitchhiker. While today was mostly for enjoyment the final assignment will be to complete the comparative worksheet and turn in by Wednesday.
Today we read through the focus Questions first and then did our first read of the Mission notes for Apollo 13. The five focus questions are due on Thursday.
today students read and worked on their newest blast dealing with our current theme “what drives someone to undertake a mission?” This blast sets the tone for the next story we will read tomorrow Apollo 13. Blast and five peer reviews are due by next Monday.
Students worked in small groups on first read of Call of the Klondike. Students in small groups were given different focuses for their group notes.

Today students started their Blast #2 during Lit Club Monday. They have an additional written response that will need to be done and turned in by Friday.
