I have been fortunate enough to have success with projects and Donorschoose.com in the past. I am at time asking for anyone to offer up some help in our class obtaining quality microphones for our production and podcasting we are going to be doing in class. Please check out the link below. If you know anyone interested in donating to the project just direct them to the link.
Today students completed and turned in their expository essays and all other work associated with this essay (resources worksheet, graphic organizer, outline, rough draft, self edit, peer edit).
Once this is turned in students may take the end of unit test by clicking on the link below.
Students used their class time today to finish their self and peer edits. These are detailed assignments that will be included as scores on their final grade for the project. This serves as a chance to make sure everything is done right on their expository essays, including parenthetical citations, work cited pages, topic sentences, thesis statements, and details.
Final Drafts are due typed and printed with all previous papers by the end of class tomorrow.
